What size is your baby
@Natalie he’s already measuring 3.7 pounds from a scan 2 weeks ago I’m now 30 weeks
Mine was measuring 8lb6oz at 34 weeks and they still wanted me to wait till 39 weeks to have him, thankfully he decided he wanted to come early and was born at 37 weeks exactly actually weighing 8lb6oz, they won't move a section date forward unless it's medically necessary
@Nikita did you still have a c section as planned? I’m so scared of going early and not being able to have a section still
I still had the c section, mine was even booked in by the time I went in to labour as my waters went at 36+4 and consultant wouldn't book anything in till I was 38 weeks, so tried to give birth naturally but after 52 hours on the gas and air I was still only 6cm so then I opted for the section, if you go early you'll definitely still be able to have a section hun x
Its actually against NICE guidelines to induce or c section purely due to "big baby". I would have thought they'd leave it at the original date if the only concern is size. If there are medical reasons that's different. If you go into labour then you can still have a section on the day. But really big babies are nothing to be scared of
My first wad 9lb 3oz and gave birth by vaginal delivery. Though, was a ballache. 41 hour labour and ended up needing forceps x
They don’t usually move a c section forward due to baby’s size, mine was over 9lb (98th percentile) and was kept in the 39th week xx
There's a chance they'll move it forward if they think that they're a bit big or if there's any risk to you or the baby
