Had a sweep on the Friday at 2pm. Had bloody show at 9.30am Saturday and baby was born at 1.56pm. Xx
@Nicola wow!!! I had a sweep yesterday at 11am, bloody show ( I think) at 5:30. This could be me today then?? What did they say to you after the sweep? After did you feel period pains? So sorry for all the questions
Long time ago now, 11 years, but I had 2 sweeps with my daughter and neither of them worked. I ended up being induced at 41+ 5
I had a sweep on a Thursday bubba came on the Saturday xxx
I had them with both pregnancies! I was 3-4cm dilated at both, 1st was born 6 hours later, and my 2nd was born 3 hours later! Xxx
@Leah wow!! Did you contract straight away?? Lose your mucus plug straight away?
@Laurie They said they were positive that I would go into labour very soon! Bloody show is a good sign! Was it ALOT??? As with my first only had a tiny amount and thought that was the bloody show. It wasn't until I had my second I knew it was a proper bloody show as it kept coming out in massive clumps. A little cramps but nothing really until after the bloody show. Xxxx
@Nicola they gave me no indication, just said my cervix was amazing for a first child. And I was 2cm. THERE WAS LOADS, 3 clumps! I’ve had very mild period pain and that’s it really. Maybe today isn’t my day but I’ve still got half of it left 🫠

@Laurie never noticed my mucas plug with either. I’ve discovered I just have an insanely high pain threshold 😂 back pain started within 30 minutes with both! Waters went after 2 hours with my first and my 2nd she came out with her waters! Xxx
i had one and the next day my contractions started x
