Elective c sections👣🤍

Hey loves! Has anyone opted for an elective c-section? I’m thinking about going down this route but not entirely sure how to go about asking for it and wondering if I still can opt for this? I’m 32 weeks🤍

Yes I am opting for one as I had an emergency one with my first. Just mention it to your Midwife at your next appointment if you decide it is what you want. They will likely put you in touch with the birth options team to discuss the risks so you can make an informed decision.

Yeah definitely still can go for it, I had one last time and I’m having another this time, mention it to your midwife and she will make an appointment with the consultant, if it’s your first you may need to see two different consultants and then after they’ve given you all the info and you still want to go ahead they will usually book you in on the 39th week xx

Me 🙋‍♀️ booked in for 5th November, got my date at 32 weeks but only because I pushed them for it

Me too, I asked directly during a growth scan so it was my consultant who booked it. If you are not consultent lead, ask your midwife now at least they must add that note on your file
