Awh thatās such a good idea! Ill be taking these on boardš„³
Hey, I had mine on Wednesday, first 2 days are the hardest, today was much easier. Bring a big bottle and some juice with a straw as itās much easier to keep fluids up that way. Ask your birthing partner to be on the ward with you as much as possible, my partner has been amazing, doing everything apart from breastfeeding during the day which is a god send to be honest. Ask for extra pain killers if you need it and donāt rush the healing experience, take your time with everything and ask for help whenever you need it! Good luck, itās amazing xx
Thank you for sharing that Beth thatās so helpful! How long was it until you were allowed home, if you donāt mind me asking? Congratulations alsoš„³š©·
@Holly Driscoll we are still on at the moment because the had alot of fluid left on her lungs so did some tests for infection, just waiting on discharge notes now! They did say if that didnāt happen Iād of gone home the next day! Also going for a number 2 isnāt the best experience, I kept trying and trying and getting stressed out, decided to just let it happen naturally and this morning I managed it and it wasnāt anyway near as bad or painful as I thought, just let nature take its course š Good luck ā¤ļø

Mineās booked too but Iām hoping to go into labor before then! I had one with my first. To prepare Iāve set the bedroom up so my side has enough space for me to get out safely as itās harder to get out of bed, Iām on the side closest to the bathroom, and the bassinet is near my husband because he will be picking up the baby for me to feed, not me. At least for the first week or 2. Iāve also made the spare room downstairs our room with baby because I wonāt be able to walk upstairs for a while. Theyāre the main things for me, anticipating the pain wnd difficulty moving around for a while. Also mentally prepping my husband for the amount of work he will be doing (all the cleaning, lifting the baby etc)
