Amazing thank you for this advice! What do you do about making feeds up when you’re there? Do you use bottled water and how do you boil it? (I’m thinking normally there isn’t a kettle in an all inclusive hotel room🙃) Sorry for so many questions I just want it to go smoothly! xx
Depends on the country, some bottled water is sterile but it’s got sodium in it. If it’s an all inclusive you should be fine, we were given a kettle for the room when we asked. When they see a baby they usually give you whatever you need. You could always buy a cheap £5 travel kettle to take and leave. You’ll be able to get boiling water at meals and even fill up a hydroflask some on the go xxx
Thank you so much, I really appreciate all of this info! xx
We have just been to France. We got baby volvic water for bottles and got ourselves cheaper bottled water. Not sure about Turkey but some of the bottled water in France had a baby symbol on it which meant it was safe for babies as some have top high salt content! We also hired a cot and baby bath which helped a lot! Have fun!
@Becky thank you, this is really helpful! x
We travel every month with our girl, the plane is the easy bit 💜 Don’t overpack. Sterilise stuff in the sink with a Milton tablet or if you have a microwave in the room for bottles like MAM. Pram, we use a yoyo and it goes in the overhead bin onboard no issues, super light and easy to fold. You can take as much liquid onboard as you want in baby’s change bag, it’s all exempt from the 100ml security issue. I would travel with 2/3 flasks of boiling water for long haul, formula tabs and make bottles up on the go.
