excessive colostrum leaking

I read that it’s normal to leak a little but I’m don’t think it she be that much check with your dr or midwife to be certain. Are you a first time mom?

I'm 19 weeks and have been leaking colostrum but it hasn't been heavy. I was told if it gets heavy to make sure I'm always wearing my bra with the extra breast pads to absorb milk

Try to get a nursing bra that has room. Your body is preparing itself for the baby , use hot and cold compresses and make sure you keep the area clean and moisturized so that it want cause infection

Whaaat that starts so early????? I’m almost 19 weeks wasn’t expecting anything to come out before baby comes

My nipples dont seem anywhere near ready to do that

@Isabela it just depends, some women never leak before giving birth, but i know of a few other women like me that start leaking around 15-20 weeks!

Does it just start out of nowhere or do you feel your boons hurt and get heavier

@Isabela mine started out of nowhere but they did suddenly seem way larger once they I started leaking and mine is only slight leaking

@Isabela i didn’t notice any soreness or heaviness! i’ve noticed them slowly getting bigger throughout my pregnancy but nothing crazy. they just started slowly leaking around 16 weeks, but no other changes. most women just notice wet spots or crusties in your bra!
