@Rebecca I was thinking if we needed to go back to one of those.
@Julie my son did great when we were at home but as soon as we left the house he acted like he didn’t know how to use it anymore lol
@Rebecca mine has just decided he’d rather hold it and go on himself. Even if we ask him if he has to go he’ll say no and then pee 5 minutes later. It’s so frustrating
My son goes very well at home but outside of the house it’s over ! We’re still working on it !
@Ebony ugh I just don’t understand this huge regression
We had that too and it was such a pain. The best thing i could come up with at the time was just to ask once every 1-2 hours, or straight up go every 1-2 hours to be safe. You can schedule it better based off your little ones natural schedule
@Crea did your little one just get back into the swing of independently asking/going without being instructed to do so?
@Julie yes! It took a couple of weeks or so but now my goofball is a very independent potty goer. I still help with wiping cause 3 year olds dont really understand the danger of a dingle berry but yes, it helped us a lot to have more prompting. I think my adhd kid just needed more reminders to learn how to naturally just go potty rather than do the intense need avoidance thing
We had to use a potty chart and at the end there was a prize but I would let him pre pick out the prize and work towards it
