Increase night stretches

My baby is sleeping 4 hour chunks in the night which is good as only waking once to feed. However, how do I start to increase her stretches to move towards sleeping though?

Provided they are gaining weight well and get enough calories in the day you can drop the feed! Do you bottle or breast feed? If bottle, then begin to reduce the amount of milk offered by one oz at a time over two weeks or so, then just settle them if they wake. Same principle with BF, but reduce the time they feed for by a minute or two. This is harder to see how much they are actually getting but should still work!

Yeah, maybe time how long their normal feed is, when they come off themselves, and then reduce that by a minute or two every other night by popping them off yourself. If they are used to falling asleep before they finished feeding you might want to try and stop this for a couple of nights before reducing the amount of milk
