Singing, dancing for and with her, reading to her, putting her in her seat whilst I wash dishes and do other chores, walks outside, jumping and bouncing
@Jenna (Jen) my baby loves trees so pram walks are always a great option!
@Aurora I do the same when doing housework 😂
She comes with me whilst I do bits around the house like wash up or fold clothes - I talk to her about what I am doing, what colours they are, get her to feel the textures etc. Its a good opportunity to promote cognitive and language development whilst getting stuff done! I have a play mat in the living room and kitchen, a bouncer / swing chair and a few tummy time activities like the crawling crab, inflatable water floor mat and sensory toys. I sing to her, dance for and with her, jiggle her around (she loves fast bicycle kicks, I think they help her move wind around), blow raspberries, read books, put on a sensory ceiling light / projector. Pram walks, throwing toys for the dog whilst baby watches ❤️ but sometimes, we just cuddle!
Mine only seems to be entertained by talking and singing with me 🤣 no interest in toys. But we do have a play gym, she just lies there when on it... But hopefully will show interest soon.
@Amber I want to get the crab!
@Emmo oh that's so sweet! I do talk to mine too about absolutely random things!
@Helen we have the crab, note: it doesn't work on carpet.
Talk/make him laugh, Fisher price playmat, he absolutely loves 'captain calamari' we hook it to the playmat and he lies and bats it 🤣 recently got a foil sheet which he likes the noise of when he lies on it, very rarely let him watch 10 minutes of dancing fruits on YouTube! My baby hates his swing chair so that's a big no 🤣
Every time I put my baby in pram she falls asleep. But when she is awake, read books, sing songs, tummy time, talk while I’m doing cleaning around the house
For me I have a playmat. A bouncer and then pram walks. I also go to baby yoga and a baby sensory class.
