@Kirsty I might try the treats and approach different see if that helps
@Suzie yeahh you can get stickers which you give him every time he does it & maybe toy car every 2 days that’s what I did I was defo desperate && he loved the chart & putting his stickers on it
Maybe try doing the younger one and big brother miiight join in https://eric.org.uk/potty-training/
It'll will come finally my son has been using the toilet after the last couple of months he is just over 3!. And thankfully his nearly trained just not at night!. It took forever xxxx
I made a sticker chart and explained that she would get a sticker each time she used the potty and when she filled the chart she could have a reward: chocolate, small toy… what ever you see fit After 3 completed charts she doesn’t ask for stickers or rewards anymore.
I think it is definitely spending that just comes when they are ready, but some things we found helped to encourage Lily was, a potty training chart and letting her choose her own potty. Telling her she will get a treat after so many stickers on her chart x
I definitely feel like you have to do it when they are ready, I did it when my boy wasn’t ready & it was proper traumatic for me 😭😭 we took a break & came back to it & we are day 2 into it & he’s so much better now 🥺 .. I also got him little treats & a potty chart to incentivise him.
