I second everything that @Chloe has said !
@Chloe that’s all great advice thank you! We’re going to get them some bits for Christmas like cars and dinosaurs etc, but really wanted some more things they could be more creative with. So thanks again 😊
Big open ended play fan here 🙌Magnetic tiles? We’re adding to our existing collection with new road toppers too, I think my son is going to LOVE them. Any building resources really! We bought my youngest some Tickit sensory blocks (mirrored, acrylic, sand etc) and my eldest spends a lot of time using them! He also has a “rainbow set”- like the arch, some flat blocks and some rainbow peg dolls and they get used ALL the time. Are they into small world play? Nice animal figures or wooden people etc that can be used in different play scenarios. Loose parts more generally. It can be more expensive to do, but if you’ve got an 18mo too, it’s absolutely worth it! I do toy rotation with them as well, which helps prevent the boredom!
