I’ve done quite a lot of flights alone with just my daughter, happy to answer any questions 😊 She’s been flying since she was 8 weeks old but I’ve done alone with her from 6 months to 2.5y. The littler the better, they adapt so well! Don’t let it stop you, travelling with my girl is the highlight of my life. I’ve done long haul and short haul, trips to Australia to see family and just weekends way in Europe. It’s always been worth it xx
Just be aware if anybody else is on the BC you will need their permission to take baby abroad x
@Kiera thankyou … I’m pretty sure this applies to countries where you need a visa though 🤔x
@Sarah Thankyou this is very reassuring! 🩵x
@Cerise if you leave the UK, you need the permission letter unfortunately xx https://www.gov.uk/permission-take-child-abroad
@Kiera ahh complete news to me🤦♀️🤦♀️ Thankyou x
I’ve just got back from Crete Greece with my 6 month old and he was a dream to fly with! I was with my partner so wasn’t alone but flying out he was quite poorly so it was left to me to figure everything out and look after our little one. I was so anxious to fly with our baby as I’ve seen horror stories everywhere about how unsettled they can be but my little boy proved them all wrong! He was an angel and didn’t make a peep! The best advice I was given was think of it as your popping out to your local shopping centre/ the next town over! It helps put your mind at ease I’d suggest sucking a dummie/ feeding for take off as a distraction from ears popping! You’ll be okay Mama🩷
