Toddler tantrums

I am almost 34 weeks pregnant and my first is 20 months old and the toddler tantrums are out in full force! He has become incredibly clingy and wants to be carried (only by me) 24/7 and I am struggling!! I have seen that from 32 ish weeks toddlers can come very clingy. Has anyone experienced this? Any advice is incredibly welcomed!! I am finding myself losing my temper and then feeling v guilty about it 😩

I don’t have any advice, only empathy. I also have a 20 month old and 26 weeks pregnant. It’s so hard to carry around a clingy toddler, I try to get on the ground with him and offer hugs and cuddles during tantrums but it’s hard. He also likes to butt bounce on my belly and it makes me so nervous!

I could have written this post myself! 21 month old super clingy and crying / throwing lots of tantrums. No advice unfortunately. Hope it gets better for all of us soon, hang in there.

I try to rest when my toddler naps to recharge my batteries.

@Nicole I try to do the same! Was going down for 2, sometimes 3 hours which was a dream 😅 but he’s really fighting his nap at the moment, and when he does go down it’s only around an hour! 🫠

I’ve been trying to get on the ground more in case I have a c section and getting her used to me not being able to carry her and pick her up all the time. I’m 36 weeks pregnant and she is 18 months old and the tantrums and clinginess are wild. Absolutely refuses dad to do anything at the moment, it’s always me and cries now when I put her down for sleep and daycare.
