Can cervical exams make you lose your plug?
I just had my show/ mucous plug. I’m 40+2 and had a cervical exam today. Not a stretch or sweep as I declined it, just an exam. Is that why I’ve lost my plug?

Ah ok, could be either to be honest! But also no way of knowing how far away labour is unfortunately, could be any minute or could be a whole after losing plug
@Charley yes I also had a show last week 😩 oh well, just hoping labour begins before my c-section next week
I'm in the same boat! C section on Thursday, hoping for labour beforehand
@Charley so hard feeling like you’re on a timeline isn’t it! Good luck to you 🫶 my c section was originally planned for Thursday but managed to get it changed to next Monday
