What skills are you looking to develop? You don’t need expensive toys - sometimes the simplest items are the best for developing key skills. Pulling muslins/small scarves out of tissue boxes/paper tubes, picking up uncooked pasta and putting it in a tub, make a shaker out of a drinks bottle with pasta in, banging wooden spoons on pots, set up an obstacle course with cushions, put two dining chairs just out of reach of one another to encourage cruising/walking. Go around your house and fill a small box with items all of the same colour/shape or texture and supervise the baby whilst they explore.
