Worried my baby is falling behind in milestones

I know I shouldn't compare other babies to her but it's really hard not to. She is 16 months old and she's not walking, cruising and pulling to stand ect though. I see other babies around who are a lot younger and they are walking and have shoes and just look more like a toddler rather than a baby. Either watching other mum's on tick tok with younger babies and they look and act much older. Obviously I don't want to rush my daughter growing up but I feel like she is falling behind.

My baby is the same age and is only just taking unstable independent steps, walking can take up to 18 months I think it says. I know when I was a baby I didn't walk until I was 18 months and I'm perfectly fine so don't worry 😊

Aw I’m sorry to hear. Comparison is the thief of joy! If you’re concerned, speak to a HV. But walking can truly take a lot of time and encouragement â˜ș are there other milestones you’re worried about?

We’re in the same boat with walking, my girl refuses to even try. She doesn’t say words either, she just babbles, it’s extremely stressful and completely understand when you say you can’t help but compare to other babies x

I wouldn’t worry my daughter this weekend has just taken her first steps (about 6) and she crawled when she was 14 months, she doesn’t say any word except mama/dada
 I’m not worried
. They all learn in their own time she will get there. As long as they are happy that’s all that matters in my eyes đŸ„° x

@Lucy my LG didn't crawl until 11 months and now at 16 months (close to 17) she's slowly walking more and more unaided
