I'm not trying to cause controversy or anything, but I would avoid using your phone because her screaming when you take it off is showing she's Becoming reliant on having screen time in the car. My LO had a phase of hating the car a few months back but we travel alot as my family live further away and tbh toys, books, songs, snacks and alot of ignoring the tears. At the end of the day we need to go from a to B and I can't keep stopping the car. So (within reason) I would just drive. If you have someone with you have them go in the back and entertain baby!
I have to have a little pack of baby biscuits in the car ready to hand him one as a distraction 😂
I have a small bag with toys and a book in the car for my daughter to explore and play with while we're driving. Nursery rhyme playlists help settle her down when she starts getting fussy and on longer journeys passing snacks at regular intervals helps
