Biting
My nearly 2 year old just come up and bit me on the arm really hard - like its left a bruise. I just sat him on the floor.
Hes never done it before, what is an appropriate way to stop biting before it becomes an issue if he does it again?

@Danielle ive tried telling him no/telling him off he just doesnt care. Im 99% sure hes autistic my HV said she agrees but cant refer him until his birthday. He is usually a very good child its very rare he is naughty x
Mine bit me really hard on the leg once. I just moved away and said calmly please don’t bite mummy, it hurts. She’s not done it again 🤷🏻♀️ I think ignoring it unless it becomes a bigger problem is probably the best way.

Get down to his level , use a strong firm tone and tell him ‘ you do not bite , that is very naughty ( along those lines )‘ you can use naughty corner if that works for you also .
