Yes I would wait until the morning if you can. Although every women is different I had the same experience. I was in early labor for a week & the day I actually felt like I was contracting but no list of mucus plug I went in was dilating but not enough to stay. Once they do the cervix check it’s a possibility your mucus plug will come out shortly after. So you could be in early labor but still need some time. Have a beautiful labor!
I went into hospital because of contractions, they suspected I was due to give birth V soon, my waters broke in hospital and I never noticed a mucus plug, anyway about 6 hours later I welcomed my LG, it happens I guess, maybe I did have it but never noticed 🤷♀️
Yes. I didn’t lose my mucous plug until much later in labor. When my water had broken I was barely 1cm as well and never had any type of mucus or bloody show leading up to it breaking.
It is possible if you’re not dilated to a certain point but it could also be prodromal labor
