I honestly just bribed my son with a candy and he learned in like a week. I’d give him a skittle if he went pee and a starburst if he went poop. I don’t give him candy anymore, he just does it on his own now. I also put his little toilet close to where he’d be playing for a couple days so that when he’d feel the urge he’d know when to run to. But now it’s in the restroom and he just lets me know when I need to open the door for him. He’s two so he has had an accident but for the most part he’s potty trained.
What were some signs you knew your toddler was ready? Cause some days I feel like he's ready and others I feel like he still needs a little more time
I honestly just decided one day that I was going to potty train him but I just looked up the sign’s and he showed all of them. I’m a first time mom so I thought all parents potty trained at 2 lol
I don’t have any advice for any books for potty training but I do recommend trying different seats! My son hated the stand alone little toilets and he didn’t like the little flimsy seats you can put on the big toilet. But I got him a toilet seat with stairs attached so he can sit on the big toilet himself and he learned quickly with that one!
