Elective c sections!!

I was told by my midwife if that was to happen then as soon as you get to the hospital you need to tell them you're having a section and they will treat it as an emergency section! So i'm assuming that is what would happen all being well! X

You just call up, they’ll ask you come in and they do the section that day ☺️ depending how far into labour you are is how soon it happens xx

I was told to get there asap if I start contractions and they will do a c-section on me asap. It would be a category 3 rather than category 4 c-section but if my labour is too far along then they won’t be able to so time is of the essence when those contractions start

Im super nervous about this. Section booked for Friday 1st but I’m terrified I will go into labour before then. (My actual due date is November 6th, so I’m 38 +2 today). Baby is measuring on the bigger side (around 7.5lbs atm), and I feel such a low pressure already. Consultant told me to go in at ANY sign of labour, and they would treat it as a “semi-emergency”, but I had such a rubbish delivery (emergency CS) with my first 10 years ago that I’m so worried things aren’t going to go to plan ☹️

This happened with my first. Yiy just ring the hospital and they get you in as soon as they can.

I'm worried about this 🙈 I'm 36wks exactly, booked in for c section at 39+2. However, at my last midwife appt baby was fully engaged, a few days ago I lost some of my mucus plug, i had my first at 39wks & this one is measuring a little big.... 😱 Got what I assume to be my last growth scan & consultant appt on Thursday so will go through all this with them 🙈
