GBS

Group B strep? No I’ve had it both times and no one’s ever said anything apart from just need antibiotics in labour that’s all xx

I haven't been offered induction for GBS but I have been offered iv antibiotics when I'm in labour which is stressing me out as they say I need it at least 4 hours before giving birth but I just don't know how I was supposed to know when to go in. I am now getting induced because they are saying baby is too big, but still nervous if I go into labour before induction day xx

I’m positive for gbs and have been offered antibios but not induction, I don’t think it’s necessary

Only once my waters broke they wanted to induce me straight away as they said the chance of infection increased the longer my waters broke. I declined. I’ve already declined in advance this time too . Are they offering it once your waters break ? Or prior x

Are you having contractions alread or something? I don’t understand l. Ask them whey they want to induce you prior to your waters breaking? I’m also group step b positive and whichever come first waters breaking or contractions then I need to go to hospital to start IV antibiotics (if I accept them doing some research at the moment) and then that’s the point where they’ve tried to induce me in the last 2 pregnancies (once my waters have gone) but as I say I declined the induction both times and waited to start naturally but I did take the antibiotics x
