Going old school with a manual pump

Anyone switch to an old school manual breast pump after ditching an electric pump? I hate my Willow 360 & thinking of testing the Hakka. Pros? Cons?

Try it and see what works for you. Manual can be slower and might not effectively remove as much milk as you need, but everyone is different. I mostly used manual as a backup since it was so slow for me

@Rebecca I get hardly anything from the Willow as it is and it runs for 25 minutes. It’s frustrating.

I used the Haaka with my last baby. If you are looking to just pump to offer a bottle here and there it can be good. I think if you are wanting to pump a lot it’s probably not a good choice. I used it on the opposite side I nursed on to catch my letdown. I had a big oversupply in the beginning and I think part of the reason was because I was always using the Haaka on the opposite side. I stopped using it around 6 weeks PP to try and regulate my milk supply better. I was using it after each feed and I think it caused my oversupply. After that, I pumped with an electric pump a couple of times a day in addition to breastfeeding to be able to offer bottles. The output on wearables usually isn’t as good as on a regular electric pump. You can also have decent supply and not get great pumping output.
