Does your baby coo/talk a lot?

My current baby is so social! Super talkative and excitable. She smiles and coos so much. It makes my little heart melt. My first was a stone cold little grump 😅 we nicknames her "cheeky bean" for a reason. She didn't smile until months and months after birth (and even then it was rare), and she was a bit behind socially for the first 2 or so years. As a baby she would just stare and didn't have any real interest in playing... But she was an April 2020 baby so things were different in general. Surprisingly she's a social butterfly now.

My baby started smiling at 1 week old and hasn’t stopped since. The other day I had a song by Mariah Carey on and left the room for a second when I came back I heard him mimicking her high notes it was so funny. But as soon as he saw me he stopped lol. He just caught a little cold from his brother and has been far less smiley, it’s so sad. He really wears his emotions on his sleeves. When I hold him in the middle of the night he makes the cutest little coo sounds and then I’ll do it and then he does it, it’s literally my favorite thing.

Yes, he babbles a lot. It's so cute.
