Mine didn’t start doing either of those things until the week after he turned 9 months old, then he did both in the same day. Now he won’t stop getting into everything 🥴
Some babies don’t crawl and go straight to walking. I wouldn’t worry
My baby will be 10 months old on 11/5 and he’s not crawling yet. In fact, he won’t even tuck his knees underneath him and he doesn’t push up to a plank on his arms. He sits unassisted, but he doesn’t get himself into that position. I’ve just had to accept that every baby is SO different and learns at SUCH difference paces, it’s not a one size fits all. They will crawl when they are ready.
Start rolling your baby on a soft mat on the floor or bed roll them back to front multiple times a day Get into a crawling position so they can see how it’s done Also put them in a crawling position but roll a blanket or rolling pillow under they tummy to get them going put they favorite toy ahead of them so they can try to get it My son is now 9 months will be 10 months next week he now stands without support still learning to walk I watched videos on YouTube and Instagram on different techniques on how to get your baby to crawl. That helps as well
All babies are different. Don’t stress about the timing of it all. Eventually she’ll figure it out. If you want - put something (tv remote, fav toys) in front of her as she’s on her tummy. She’ll reach for it and begin army crawling. Next thing you know it she’ll be a crawling fool and you can’t keep up!
My daughter didn’t crawl until she was 11.5 months and didn’t walk until she was almost 18 months, she will do it in her own time ♥️
My little girl was very late on crawling and walking she started crawling at about 11 months and started walking 6 months before she turned 2
My little girl was around 1 crawling and 20 months walking and it did feel like for ever, now she climbs and is hyperactive and never stops and into everything. It will happen... also doesn't mean she's not able to it might be she can but doesn't want to
Don’t stress yourself out! They all do it on their own time and when they want.
My first daughter crawled on her 6 month birthday and started pulling up soon after before 7 months. She walked at 10 months. I thought that was the norm so was concerned when my now 9 month old wasn't crawling by 8 months. Our pediatrician said it's very normal and my first daughter was super early. My baby started crawling right around her 9 month birthday but really struggled. She's much chubbier than my first was and she just always hated tummy time and her start to crawling was a slow struggle. Even when she did start she'd crawl a few steps then stop and cry. I think it was exhausting for her. Now she's 9.5 and crawling around happily but still not as much as my 6 month old did. Every baby is just so different! My mom was adamant I force her to do tummy time and crawl so she wouldn't walk before crawling. Before doing that she really just always wanted to try to stand more than try to crawl.
Right there with ya mama we’re almost 10 months. We did figure out last week how to slide backwards on our belly and make 360 turns which is something!! I’m not worried. I know babe won’t go to kindergarten not knowing how to crawl. In due time and I’m not rushing.
My baby boy is 9 month this week and we are walking next to the sofa and each time we are trying to put him on all 4 he cries and screams, i think it just this generation decided to skip crawling part. You can help her pulling by holding her hands up and she can try to push her up also a lot of feet exercises like bicycle and rolling siee to side, i did massage on my boys feet too so he’ll feel them better.
My twins are 9 months so I totally feel you! They aren’t crawling, but we have the activity walkers (fisher price puppy dog, etc) having them on their knees while pushes buttons and such really helps with core strength. Using a towel under their belly to get them onto their knees and into crawling position helps gov Ethen less and less help as time goes on. Keep toys a little out of reach so they will crawl. I got a lot of my tips from a physical therapist on Tik Tok! Even while sitting up have stuff a little out of reach so they start to get onto their hands knees will help too! In all reality may not crawl until upwards of one year and that is completely ok! If you feel your little one needs additional help you can always look into physical therapy as well!
My baby will be 9 months on Thursday and he won’t crawl either. He can sit up without support, he will be laying down and sit up, he will attempt to get on all 4 but has not been successful YET. I think the time will come or maybe they will just stand up one day and not crawl LOL. I have heard all babies reach their milestones some will take longer than others but I think they are fine. She is soo cute!
