Post- delivery training!

I know I can’t go back to weight training until at least six weeks after a vaginal delivery, but when can I start doing simple recovery exercises? Mostly keen to support pelvic floor and abdominal separation recovery. Any advice / exercise recommendations very welcomed! Thanks! 🤩

Hey, personal trainer and mum here. You can do the "Squeezes" when you don't have pain down there and I would stick to long walks, maybe incline walk depending what your town has. I would take the 6 weeks with a pinch of salt. Some women need rather 6 months. I was on tbe lucky position to start earlier than 6 weeks as I didn't even tear and everything was ok, now I have a nearly 2 year old :) You want to avoid piles or any form of exercise causing excessive bleeding (not like the bleeding in the first 6 weeks is not already excessive). Have a quick recovery. I am happy to answer your questions, feel free to add me on Instagram mbsflow_fitnessandwellbeing
