Breach baby

Just had my 36 week apt and found out that my baby is breach. I guess I’m part of the lucky 3%. Anyone have experience with a EVC to flip baby? Was it painful, stressful etc..? I’m being told a spinal tap is administered etc. sounds scary and intimidating. The other option is to not do an EVC and schedule a c-section if she does not flip on her own.

Hi! My baby was breeched too :) idk if you would be interested but there’s a specific type of acupuncture to try and get the baby to flip. I did it and it was insane, I’d never help the baby move that much, I felt him try so so hard to summersault and I could also tell that he couldn’t. I told the acupuncturist what had happened when she came back, she said no one was in there with my baby and that maybe he was where he was for a reason. That was enough for me, I knew I had tried and I trusted that my baby had tried to. He was born via scheduled c-section, he was huge, the nurse told me he did me a big favor by being breeched 😂 sending all the positive thoughts!

My baby was breech and C section. I didn’t do the EVC.. the complications scared me. I literally tried everything from swimming to acupuncture and nothing helped. Go with the flow and if your baby wants to turn she/he will. It took me a while to accept it.

I did an EVC. I don't want to scare you because they tried it very late at 39 weeks.

I tried yoga, acupuncture, and some stretches my doctor recommended. None of them worked so I opted for the EVC because having a c section absolutely terrified me. I could feel my baby trying to turn as well but going right back to the same breech (transverse lie for my baby). I assumed he was in the position he was comfortable in and I didn’t want to press it anymore. I delivered via a scheduled c-section as well. Baby came out healthy and fine. Wishing you the best of luck. Always go with what you feel is best for you and baby. After all you know them best❤️

. I had a doula which helped so much on every level, we went into labor at a birth center with hospital right near by (in case). I also have a friend who had twins at home and second was breached, all good no tearing. Bridget Teylpr is a great resource on YouTube. A doula can support during EVC if that’s your choice or C section if that seems best. Also if cost is an issue there are many that will work with you. DM me if you d like!

Ugh. We are going to try and turn her on the 7th and then if it’s unsuccessful we will do c-section which I am deathly afraid of.
