My little boy turned 6 months a couple of days ago and for around 3 weeks all he’s been saying is dada, makes me so jealous 😂but is anyone else’s little one saying mama yet?

My little girl is just saying random ma,da,ba sounds. But majority of babies say Dada first because the Da sound is a lot easier for them than the Ma sound.

@Jayde I was so proud of him when he first said it but got so emotional which I feel so stupid for, my partner has two little boys from a previous relationship and their first word was dada, my little boy will be my only child so was hoping for mama but im proud either way😂

My little boy is saying mama and shaking his head at my partner when he asks if he can say dada 🤣

@Abi omg my little boy is shaking his head at lot at the moment too 😂he did it when my mum was trying to get him to say nana the other day 😂😂

It's so annoying isn't it! I'm going to be crushed when mine says her first word because it will probably be Dada too and she looks exactly like him to! All my brothers said Dada first too but apparently I said dog 🤣 hopefully she takes after me and says something different

Yes I’ve got ma ma ma when she was 5 months old and that’s now all she says 🥳🥳🤣

Mama started 2 days ago for us. And it’s now continuous 🤣 but I’m Not complaining because I love it. My husband is desperately trying to get her to say dada

My boy says ‘Muuuuum’ when he’s tired or hungry. Only thing he can say at the moment so I’m chuffed! My first went straight to Baba & Dada

No just “Hiya” to strangers outside 😂

His new word is baba today it’s been constant since 6am🤣I’m hoping it turns to mama 😂😂
