I’m getting mine done in 2 hours… I can report back later 😂

So I had mine done Monday. It was pretty uncomfortable but nothing I couldn’t handle… everyone has a different pain tolerance so idk how it will be for you. No signs of baby boy yet, I did lose my mucus plug today 🤷🏽‍♀️. Not sure what that means lol. Keep you posted tho. If you’re already 2cm prob have pretty good chances of going into labor shortly after. Wish there was a more clear percentage of those who do vs don’t 😩 just want him to be here already! Good luck!

I did a membrane sweep today and didn’t think it was painful at all, just pressure but no problem handling it. It was super quick (she counted down from 10) ☺️

@Vanessa wait so it took her 10 seconds to do it?? that feels so long

@Braelan with my first i lost my mucus plug and went into labor 3-4 days afterwards

@Shelby it was 10 speedy seconds, probably just 5 to be honest 🤪

It's uncomfortable. But it can be worth it. I had it done twice with my first. Tip: put both hands under your butt to kind of lift yourself up. It's easier for them to reach and hurts less.

Update: Just got my sweep! Wasn’t that bad. Felt very similar to a cervix dilation check just a few seconds longer

I had 3 with my daughter at 38w, 39w, and 40w3d while I was in labor to try and progress it since I was stalled. None of them did a dang thing lol

@Jackie how are you feeling now

With my first, I had a membrane sweep and had my son the next day! I was only 1 cm at my appointment when I got the sweep. It was uncomfortable and contractions started shortly after.

@Shelby I feel exactly the same :/ no cramping, no bloody show.. nothing! Waiting for something to happen lol
