I got an induction and it’s was my first pregnancy and I didn’t find it all that sore tbh they just give you the gel or whatever they are using for induction and then it’s just a waiting game they checked me every six hours I was lucky enough to go into labour with just one round of induction but everything went as it should for me give me a message if you like ❤️

I was induced with my first child on the 2nd October. They gave me the gel and checked me 6 hours later, said I didn’t need anymore gel and I then waited another 24 hours to be taken to the labour ward. I didn’t find induction sore

I got induced with my 2nd pregnancy you can be in for days it’s not a fast process until your on the drip it’s the hormonal drip that’s the worst and I found that soo hard and fucking sore! As you don’t get a break at all! My first pregnancy I went natural and that was a breeze compared to being induced I found it that way anyway xx

I got induced with the pessary due to preeclampsia. I feels a bit uncomfortable going in and started feeling contractions 4 hours later. They had to remove it as I was having contractions every 2 minutes and it's was extremely uncomfortable. They moved me to the labour ward and it was very painful very quickly so I had gas and air, morphine and tens machine. If you want to remember don't go for the morphine because I don't remember much as i also had gas and air and both make you very loopy. But that's just for me. Everyone is different just remember you get to meet your little baby very soon 🩷

I was induced with the balloon which was successful I just had a bit of a wait to get to labor ward. I got put on the drip and I dilated within4 hours of being on it i won’t lie the drip is crazy so take pain relief when u need it or if you want an epidural before it’s ur choice but I found it not that bad the thought of it was worse that it was xx good luck lovely promise ur gonna be fine xx

I actually had a really positive induction experience, I was meant to get the balloon but I was already 2cm dilated when they checked me so just did a sweep and waited for a space on labour suite for them to break my waters. I was then put on a drip and the whole process from start to finish was only 3 hours 26 mins. The only thing I regret is not taking more pain relief and trying to be brave with gas and air; take it allllll 😂🫢 I’m having my 2nd elective induction on the 20th of Nov so if I’m choosing to do it for a 2nd time it can’t be that bad 🙈 good luck with everything, you’ll do amazingly I’m sure xx

I have only had the one labour and it was induced on the drip and it was really intense. I think I was getting about 3 seconds between contractions. It was rough. But took the epidural when offered and it was a god send. Just keep talking to your midwife. They were amazing 👏🏼 be open and just take everything as it comes. U got this mamma!!!

Hey, I got an induction in March and it was my first baby so I don’t really know if it hurts more or less! For me it was the gel, then they broke my waters and got the hormone drip. If you have any questions just message me! One piece of advice is bring plenty to stay entertained as you’ll be there at least a couple days, and make sure to stand your ground on what you want! This is your birth and you’re in control! Hope it all goes well!

The induction process wasn’t painful… I found the examinations extremely uncomfortable and I put a hault to it and gave up as I wasn’t dilating any after 4 gels!

I had the drip the first time after my waters broke and nothing really happened. The second time I got the balloon but didn't need the drip as I gave birth 3 hours after my waters were broken. I don't know how you can compare if it's worse or not as one labour to another is different regardless.

Don't forget eat during the process, because if you need a epidural you cannot eat after that and you are gonna need the energy. I don't eat before my epidural and I regret for that haha I'm not was induced but in labor the midwife recommended me broke my water to be more fast the process and after that my contractions was very strong and needed a epidural. Good luck girl, you can do it!

I got the balloon in august and I had no pain getting it in then it was rather uncomfortable for about 6 hours after I got it but I lay on my side after that time and felt great. Went in after it fell out and got my waters popped the had her the next day x
