EBF dummies?

What dummies are your exclusively breastfed babies using? My baby is 2 weeks tomorrow and he’s starting to use me as a bit of a human dummy and is on the boob for sometimes going on nearly 2 hours on and off whilst trying to get to sleep. He’ll just cry as soon as he’s put to bed or off the boob. I’m thinking of introducing a dummy to see if this helps but he won’t take to the mam dummies and just spits them back out. I have a few others already but I’m reluctant to give him one anyway so just wanted to see if anyone else had any success with a dummy and which ones if so?

Having this with my little girl at the moment she’s 4 weeks and won’t take to anything but my boobs and she will be on them allll day with 10 min breaks hopefully it’s just a phase of them trying to get the supply up in the boob and soon they will stop but if you have any luck or anyone else with dummies that their LO likes please share!!

I'm in the same boat too! Wasn't going to use dummies but seriously considering it just for a bit of sleep! My baby is 2 weeks tomorrow as well x

I gave in and gave him the dummy at 2 weeks (he's almost 3w now) because seriously. My husband told me not to try to always follow the manual, just do whatever works (as long as it's safe). We have the MAM ones, he doesn't always take it, but it helps.

Our little one was the same just wanted the comfort rather than being hungry, we didn’t want to use a dummy but sometimes it’s the only thing that will settle her. We’ve been using the bibs ones

Tommy Tippie orthodontic ones ... But she doesn't always want them! They're great though and they help her self regulate

We tried the mam ones but he just spat them out we have these now and they are brill ! https://amzn.eu/d/5zLSoBT

We have a mam newborn one, he takes it but only if its held in his mouth for about 10 seconds until he starts sucking. He doesn't take it for long but it buys me a bit of time when he's hungry and I'm not quite ready to give the boob 🤣

My brother did a ton of research into which dummy to get when his kids were little. He lives in Sweden and these seemed to be most widely recommended over there. We're in same boat - my older daughter is two and never needed a dummy but I think I'm about to cave and give my son one. He's 5 weeks and wants to be on the boob all day long and won't settle with anyone else and I just need to be able to have a breather sometimes. Xxx
