As above do all that. Don't expect it to be quick. We started induction Monday evening in a favourable state and currently 3cm dilated hoping for more progress in the next few hours to hopefully welcome a Halloween baby.
Oh and take lots of snacks. I have been going out for short walks about every hour or so and spending lots of time on the ball.
Take lots of snacks, i would also advise taking entertainment with you and as others have advised stay as active as you can x
i got induced and it never worked. my cervix never opened and baby was very stubborn and comfy in me. They wanted to keep doing more rounds of it but in the end i asked for a c-section.
@Kate my cervix is already 3cm dilated but it hasn't opened up anymore for over a week now so it's why they are wanting to induce me to get it over and done with. Yeah my baby is pretty energetic and comfy in there so that's probably why he doesn't want to come out. On my birth plan I have planned to have a natural birth but I am open to have a c-section if needed. Xx
not before but when you start the induction do not just stay in your bed go around the hospital or where you do your birth go walk some stairs, do curb walking, jump on a exercise ball .. that what help me with my indiction to go faster
