I know its super hard but i get it too and it gets a little better when i stretch it in a standing position, bending my knee and bringing foot towards butt, a Quad stretch, but pushing belly out to stretch flwxors as well. It all depends your flexibility level, and doing it safely with holding on to a counter...u can do it sidelying but for me right now my pelvic pain is so intense i cannot lay on my side. Some people do a butterfly stretch as well, and hip cirlces in standing or on all fours can help. But due to my pain i modified to standing. I hope it helps a little, you are amost there!
Using my yoga ball has been super helpful with my hip pains! Side to side motions and hip circles especially help with easing the aches and pains. Heating pad in moderation as well! I hope this is helpful!
