Umbilical cord

I would say that probably needs looking at by a midwife / doctor. I was told if it was red or smelly then it could be infected x

I would recommend getting this checked out, my little girls has just fallen off and isn’t red. It could be completely fine but always worth checking. Hope it goes ok.

My sons was like this it smelt and doctors gave me some antibiotic cream Cleared it up in 2 days

Thanks ladies, I’ve seen the midwife this morning and she had no concerns and it actually looks a lot better since that photo was taken. I think it’s easy to go into instant worry as you get told the cord will fall off but nothing about what it should look like afterwards. But thankfully my baby is all good 😊🩷
