Teething

Hi all! I think we’re finally at the teething stage! She’s been pretty inconsolable and fussy all day apart from when I’ve just given her some teething powder and I’ve given her one dose of calpol this morning. One thing I’m unsure if it’s to do with teething is the inside of her bottom lip is swollen too (noticed when rubbing the powder on her gums) and she’s also like pouting/ sticking her tongue in and out too. Is this part of it? We’ve just done day 3 of introducing dairy allergen food wise so worrying it’s some reaction to that too? Also, I know every baby is different but how long did it take from this stage for babies teeth to actually erupt?

I would probably just check in with the doctor to be on the safe side xx

My LO is pouting/ sticking her tongue in and out but she isn’t teething and hasn’t started solids either! I think this part is developmental!

My health visitor has advised me to use nurofen for when my little girl is teething badly because it’s an anti-inflammatory! I’d check with the doctor about the swollen lip just to be sure. It could be friction from the teething or something x
