Low PAPP-A. Really worried

Low PAPP-A (0.27 MoM) .My antenatal screening for Down’s syndrome etc. came back as low risk but they found a very low level of the PAPP-A hormone which can apparently lead to miscarriages, premature birth or still birth. Really worried. Does anyone else have any experience of this?

I've had the same and been having a melt down all day 😂 however I think the risks are all very low, I think low dose aspirin is the treatment and few extra scans. I'm trying not to worry about even though that's really hard! Cxx

Hey. I had low papp A in my first pregnancy ( my little man is now one). i had to take aspirin every day of the pregnancy and i had extra growth scans as my baby measured small. He arrived happy and healthy with a planned section at 37 weeks (planned because they said he measured small)

@Victoria thank you so much and glad he was born healthy. Has he had healthy and normal development since? X

Hello yep absolutely fine, just a normal toddler whose non stop all day everyday lol

@Victoria so helpful to hear, thank you! Xxx

Really happy for you xx
