Grunting

My little girl (2 weeks old), makes so much noise when she’s sleeping, and I don’t remember my little boy doing this when he was this age, how can you possibly sleep? 😅

Haha my son is also a really noisy sleeper, and I don't remember my daughter being so loud! I'm actually deaf in one of my ears, so I sleep with that side up so I can't hear all his little noises! I still hear him crying though, or the other half has to wake me!! I never thought deafness would have it's perks 🤣 x

Oh yeah, newborns are super loud sleepers 🤣🤣

@Sam I’m jealous! 🤣 I moved my little boy in his own room at 3 months cos he disturbed me and he was such a good sleeper, I think I’ll have no chance with little miss! How funny that they’re so different x

I know right! I feel lucky to be deaf in that ear, the peace is heavenly 🤪 ... maybe get an ear plug for one ear?! 🙈 x

By lo is the same. Are you using white noise as I find that helps cover it but I still hear the crying?

@Sam I used to do night shift and couldn’t wear the ear plugs, hopefully she stops grunting soon 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️x

@Tanya no I don’t use anything, just darkness and silence, I’m just trying to preserve, I’m worried if I introduce something like that i can’t get her off it 🥲 I was the same with my first

@Ellie TBF I can't sleep without white noise now as I'm used to it from my first and we still use it with her and she's just turned 3. I don't mind though as it helps cover the noise of us moving around after she's gone to bed and also her room shares a wall with the nursery so it stops them disturbing each other. If she's sleeping fine without it might not matter but something to consider later if she becomes more sensitive to noise/to help you sleep.
