I don’t have any advice but wanted to say you’re not alone. I’m a first time mum who went into panic yesterday when they said I’d be having a C-section on Tuesday! I think it’s so natural how we feel as it’s all unknown but we’ve got this! I hope it all goes well for you and your little one ❤️ x

I’ve never had a section but i was feeling the same, very nervous. It became second nature for me i just knew what i was doing naturally. I don’t think anyone can prepare you for it, night feeds are challenging but with support they become easier. It was very overwhelming the first week i had her with visitors all the time but we’re limiting it this time around. I can’t lie it’s my second and im nervous again but all i will say is get as much rest as you can now before babies here and just go with it, don’t be afraid to ask for help or say no to visitors. Good luck youl be great x

Before my first I did all the classes and read loads of books and still felt completely unprepared! What I learnt though is that there’s tons of guidance out there but you won’t actually know what works for you and your baby until baby is here - it’s all a learning process and you will make mistakes but learning from them is what makes you a better parent. The other thing I will say is that you will instinctively know what do in most situations because they’re your baby whereas other people who are helping won’t - you can give them guidance but try let them figure out their own way of doing things (I found this really difficult!) so they can become confident in looking after the baby themselves otherwise you’ll get stuck in a cycle of feeling like you have to do everything by yourself! You do need to accept help where you can get it otherwise you’ll burn yourself out. Happy mum = happy baby!

Thank you all wonderful ladies! Really appreciate all these advice and reassurance .
