Induced

be patient as it can take a few days, and a few rounds of it. i gave up waiting after nothing happened after 3 days and 3 failed rounds. i asked for a c section lol

I was induced last Sunday and everybody told me prepare for it to be slow… I had him less than 5 hours after the first prostaglandin gel was put in. So also be prepared it can be very quick too because I wasn’t and was quite the shock! Try to go in with an open mind about it all and it makes it much easier. You’ve got this!

@Louise wow that’s really quick! Do you mind me asking what stage you went for induction and before giving the gel how dilated were you?

@Tash I was 38+6, had had 2 sweeps but my cervix still had length to it, I was 1cm but had been since my first week 6 days before so they were just expecting to be able to break my waters after the first gel but didn’t get to the first examination 🤣🤣
