Aww man this must me exhausting for you.. i feel like there has to be something wrong like molars or something. I do not believe is their personality no child should be screaming and crying 70% of the day have you tried baby wearing the small one?
@Noelle my 3mo will let me baby wear her for about 10 mins then she starts squirming and crying to get out🙃 it is about time for those molars to come in so it could play a part in it. its just so exhausting 😭 on top of this time change, its been roughhhh
I hope u get some patience girl because i wouldnt be able to do it. I hope its just a stage they going through 😭
im in the exact same boat!! my 2 year old is suspected autistic and i have a 4 month old, all day long theyre crying its absolutely draining, feels good to know im not alone in this
all day long i cant get anytbing done or go anywhere because of how bad it is!! i really dont know what to do
Have you tried ear defenders? Children with Autism and Sensory processing issues can become overstimulated very easily so blocking out excess noise you don't even register but she does might help. Also check the textures on the clothes you're putting her in, my oldest has always struggled with textures and feels on his skin I have to size up his clothes so they're not tight in anyway and even then he prefers to be in his underwear all year round. You'll probably find that once you eliminate your toddler's triggers your newborn will feel a lot calmer :)
I find taking them outside helps. Seems so calming. My 18 month old just loves to walk around and pick up stones and pebbles off the drive!
Are your 24m old molars coming in? My son was extra fussy when they were. You could also look up different activities for them to do since you suspect austim and sensory issues. Maybe like one of those small indoor trampolines. They get energy out. The Camilla teething drops helped us a lot when my son’s molars were coming he was generally unbothered by his teeth but when he was fussy that’s usually what it was for us. We got an off brand nugget couch on Amazon so he had stuff to climb on and build with. Sorry if you tried any of this. Just spitballing some stuff my son was 3 months early so we had an early intervention person coming to see us for his first year and some of this was her recommendations for his development to catch up. But yea I think some kids might just be “whiny” My daughter is 6 months now and just screams but I think it’s mostly cause she found her voice and likes to use it.
