Potty training

Have you started any kind of potty training or toilet introduction? If so, how are you doing it and how is it going?

Right now we are taking baby after poop cues and it has been going really well! We started about a week ago. Yesterday evening was a miss due to some diarrhea but baby definitely prefers the potty for poop

We got one of the two in one toilet seats (a regular toilet seat with a little lid that flips down for kids not to fall through) I sat him up there and rewarded him with cheese puffs. Now he thinks it's his cheese puff throne and has yet to correlate it with using the bathroom lol

I got a folding seat that goes on top of a regular toulet seat (it comes with a travel bag, so you can use on public too) and recently my daughter has been bringing me diapers when she needs changed and ONE time she said "I poop" So today I set her on the toilet for a bit to get comfortable with it. No expectations of actually using it yet, but shes been interested in the toilet for a while and with her recently recognizing dirty diapers means getting changed, I think she's getting there!

Just starting to get him understanding me asking if he pooped. He's had pretty easy tells when he's pooping so I ask him, are you pooping? Do you need your diaper changed? Yesterday I asked and he started walking towards his room.

We’ve been talking by about when it’s time to change the diaper (are you wet? Did you poop?) and we have a little potty in the bathroom that we invite her to sit on when she’s feeling it. Also talk through what I’m doing when I use the bathroom. We are just focusing on familiarity of using that space and those tools for potty stuff.
