I started weaning her slowly. Her being in daycare for a few hours out of the day really helped, too. I kept her busy during the day, so she didn't really have a chance or was interested, but she still needed it to fall asleep and throughout the night. Recently, I cut down the night feeds until I stopped them all together. She cried, but after a few days, she was fine and understood. This past Saturday, I told her no more ninny to fall asleep because Mommy doesn't have any more milk and I had her listen to my heartbeat instead, making a little game out of it. Tonight, there were no tears at bedtime 🤗
All of this was a process that took months, it wasn't just cold turkey.
I’m thinking I may have this same experience once mine start school which is soon. Thank you
@Tea Of course and you got this!! Just stay consistent 😊
