I get more from my left side than the right but I also find if I haven't drank well throughout the day I struggle more..
I have found my right one much better than my left. It seems to me more yellow on the right too and clear/white on the left. I have managed to fill 2 x 5ml containers so far with a mixture of both sides x
Defo not, one boob is a lot better than the other for me! I think it’s normal though!
I have the same! Asked my midwife this morning and she said to keep trying, even if it is just a few drops. Eventually it might increase. And if not...no biggie. My sil could not get any colostrum and breastfed all 3 babies.
So I’ve been waiting a bit to start harvesting because even though it’s coming out, it hasn’t been coming out like the first time I tried it. Now I’m 36+6 I’m gonna start collecting it because I can see that it’s coming out in a bit more access now on both sides x
That’s pretty good! I’ve so far only managed 0.07ml 😂 how long do you express for in one sitting?
@Alicia probably about 5-10minutes each time or until the droplets decrease. Don’t worry, apparently even the tiniest bit is enough when baby is first born! Just keep persevering, you’re doing great! 😊
Not at all no. My left breast produces much less, some days I get literally a drop and that's it 😅 I have 5ml so far and it's mainly right breast. I think it's normal though xx

Are people doing it in the bath/shower as well? Everything says about being relaxed but the whole thing makes me very stressed 😂 xx
@Alicia I'm harvesting on the sofa, watching some light TV. More comfortable than in a tub in which the water doesn't cover my tummy anymore lol
When i was collecting I got far more out of my left. I’d be lucky to get 0.2ml out of the right and 2ml+ from the left. Ironically now im pumping for my twins I get far more from the right than left
I'm 37 weeks. Thank you all for the reassurance! I'll just keep letting righty show off and try to get something out of lefty 🤣 @Alicia I found it was a lot harder for me in the bath personally. I get in bed and put the tele on
I find my left side produces alot more. I can easily collect 2ml from it and then the right I would struggle to get 1ml. I find if I collect every other day though, it's more equal.
