Start of labor?
I had my 39 week appointment yesterday and was 3cm dilated. The doctor did the sweep and today I lost my mucus plug with blood just now. Is this start of my labor?

I would call Labor and delivery, that’s how my labor started with my first pregnancy, less than an hour later I started having contractions and my water broke
I had a sweep done today , you lost your plug 24hrs after the sweep? I’m looking for hope that the sweep will work for me 😫
@Nathalie yes, I lost the plug today but so far nothing….
I also had a sweep yesterday and lost the plug yesterday itself, but no signs of labor so far

Nope, but it could be soon. You will feel cramping like a period or stronger, maybe pain in your lower back. My labor started about 12 hours after loosing my mucus plug but everything I heard can be weeks in between
