Activity ideas

My son is nearly 2 and loves playing with more educational toys that involve colours and letters. It seems to be his favourite thing at the minute so I have been trying to come up with ideas on what activities we can do together. I made a book for him that was an animal alphabet book which he loves to read which makes me so happy. I am now looking at making a list of good activities I can do in my tuff tray or things I can do around the house with him that involve an educational component. Any activity ideas would be greatly appreciated. ❤️ Here is a picture of my baby boy reading his book ❤️

Aww you sound like a great mama! Your boy is lucky to have you ❤️ No. 1 suggestion is download Pinterest! It has SO many good and easy DIY ideas for toddler development and education, you will never run out of ideas - i have a full Pinterest board organised into sections (english, maths, geography, etc) and each section is full of ideas that I’ve pinned to go back to when my LO is old enough, so yeah definitely check out Pinterest! ☺️

Dominoes? Snap? x

That book is soooo cool. How did you bind it together?

I second Pinterest. As an early years teacher, I often use it for ideas. As Emily said, you will not run out of suggestions.

We've been making an alphabet book with pictures or drawings of things he likes with a cheap scrapbook. Look up tuff tray groups on Facebook if you have it. Twinkl has great resources too
