Hand movements

My 7 month old all of a sudden over the last two weeks (or from when I stated observation) seems to be displaying waving hand movements a lot at the moment and at times will really observe his hand moving, as if he has just discovered his fingers can move. I didn’t think anything of it until someone made a comment about stimming after I mentioned it and it’s all consuming now. Just wondered if others little ones are very much waving hands about at this age?

My LO just turned 7 months and I wouldn’t say he’s waving but I’ve definitely caught him a couple of times recently moving and looking at his hands like he’s just discovered them again. I was like baby you discovered these months ago, did you forget 😆

Its normal at that age. He has just discovered his hands are attached and that he has control over them. Stimming comes later
