How is everyone dealing with their 3 year olds big emotions? Mine has started hitting, not listening, stomping his feet, to name a few! I feel like I’m failing

Oh you are not. Almost all of us will be going through this!! Mine likes to say "no thank you!" casually in response to any instruction we give him 🙄🙄 We try a bit of carrot and a bit of stick at the minute... ie sending him to his room/ taking toys away if he is naughty or doesnt say sorry for doing something... and/ or we reward him with eg stickers if he behaves well in important scenarios like a trip to the doctors.

We are in the same position. Please don’t worry, sending love as a huge new challenge xx

We are same darling you are not alone 💌

We have this too! I can’t stand the laying in the middle of the floor knowing I can’t do much about it because I have a baby to hold too! 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’m finding 3 year old tantrums worse than “the terrible twos” We have lots of big emotions at the moment. I take toys away, distract and then reward where needed. Not sure if this works or not 😂🙈

Oh gosh I’m in the same boat it’s awful!! Not sure what strategy I’m doing, try to distract away from the behaviour, try to reward good behaviour, try to punish even try bribery. Usually resort to let her scream shout and stomp til she’s over it
