If your baby is making a mess but is content do you just leave them to it? 😅

My mum was over and whilst we were chatting baby was sitting in the corner quietly pulling out all his nappies from the hamper I keep them in. I seen him do it and just let him because he was happy but my mum saw and said "oh no are you not going to stop him?" He's just usually such a difficult baby to keep entertained and normally needs me constantly talking to and playing with him, so I was enjoying just being able to sit and have a chat without him screaming at me or climbing all over me 😭

If my daughter isn’t causing any harm then sometimes I do just let her crack on 🙈 Otherwise I’m spending all day chasing her round removing things from her and telling her no!

Just leave them to it 😅 my little one loves to pull out all her plastic bowls, cups etc from the drawer in the kitchen and I just let her do it especially in the mornings when trying to get myself out the door to work. I usually then make cleaning them up an activity that we do together...so she will help me pick them up and put them back in. She goes around saying 'clean up', which she also enjoys doing!

Nah I’d leave my son to it.. something I have learned is to choose your battles. They are at the age of tantrums so if he is safe they leave him to it

As long as baby is safe while doing it, I pretty much let her do what she likes. Most of my downstairs areas that’s accessible is for her to explore, pull out, play with.

Unless she is gonna hurt herself or start a fire I am picking my battles. Make that mess.

If I leave wipes out he does the same and I only stop him as I dont want to waste them but anything like nappies or things that can be tidied Id just leave them to it

I let them do it 🤣 then clean it up, my mil the same she's like no don't eat with your hands and I'm like he can eat with his hands the important thing is he's eating for me and she always says yes but he should use a fork I'm thinking just fork off woman 😅

I tend to let him do it. He sat and pulled every last tissue out of a box today but then sat and stuffed about half back in again. He was safe and not causing any harm
