Sounds like she’s ready! Just follow her lead and if she loses interest/it becomes aversive fade back and circle back when she seems interested/motivated again
@Sara not peeing overnight at 4 months is not normal. That’s a sign of dehydration.
@Incognito, thanks for your concern, but no, he's good. He has really great bladder control. He's 2y7m and has never been dehydrated in his life 😄
@Sara A 4 month old baby cannot have bladder control…they should still be drinking lots of milk at that age and having wet diapers at night.
@Incognito well, actually, they can. My son is proof. I fed him on demand day and night. He still didn't pee overnight. Hence, the great bladder control. So thank you for your judgement and thinking you know my son more than I do, saying that he's not normal and for suggesting that I'm a liar.
Some signs my boy was showing me - hasn't peed overnight since 4 months - hiding when pooping/peeing - telling me that he pooed/peed - taking his nappy off - intrigued by the toilet - running to the toilet when feeling the urge to pee or poo - flushing the toilet/looking in - stayed dry for numerous hours I started my boy at 16 months. He did great, and I just followed his lead. Your girl has started to be intrigued. She doesn't sound ready yet, though.
