👋☺ Hi @Mccall I always have the best success using a small toddler potty on the floor for potty learning before introducing a child to sitting up on the regular big adult toilet. At least in the beginning, until they're a little more experienced with toileting and have mastered pees & poops in a training potty. @Vera when I originally tried yes she was naked throughout the day for the first day and she was ok with it. The next day I tried the same thing and she completely lost it. So I thought she just didn’t want to be naked and put undies on. So this time we just went straight to undies with or without pants.
@Jade yeah in the beginning I prob was hovering 🤦♀️ but I’ve tried to back of and even say “ok I’m not looking” and covering my eyes. Hasn’t helped

@Mccall can she do everything independently? If not teach her the whole routine and leave it to her. Sometimes the process is giving them the reigns. Maybe a cute timer reminder could motivate her to go.

Thank you everyone! We have decided to back track and put her in pull ups. I briefly put them on her before and she def just used them as diapers and she prob still will but I’m curious now that we were doing the potty with underwear for a week if she’ll just try on her own terms without any pressure on any of us.

Have you tried having her naked throughout the day? You will have wees everywhere but then you can start telling her: let’s try to catch the wee when it comes. Where can we catch it? And have the potty nearby
